We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC226479.

We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our prices.

What the service is

ExperimentIQ helps you plan experiments. You describe what you want to find out and what you can change, and it suggests a design, produces a run sheet, and lets you record your results.

What ExperimentIQ is not

The designs and explanations are suggestions to help you plan. They are generated automatically, including by AI, and they can be wrong. You are the scientist. Check any design before you run it, and use your own judgement about whether it fits your work.

We do not take responsibility for the outcome of experiments you run, for materials or time used, for laboratory safety, or for any conclusions you draw from your results.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. Keep your account secure and do not share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be 18 or over to use ExperimentIQ.

What you can and cannot do

You can use ExperimentIQ for your own research, including commercial research.

You must not use it to break the law, plan anything designed to harm people, attempt to break into or overload the service, resell access, or scrape or copy the service to build a competing product.

Your content

Your experiments belong to you. We do not claim ownership. We use them only to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Payment

Designing experiments, generating run sheets and recording results are free.

Analysis of results is a paid feature, billed monthly. The standard monthly price is £29. An introductory launch price of £19 per month is currently available to new subscribers. This launch price is not guaranteed indefinitely. If the standard price is reinstated, existing subscribers on the launch price will be notified by email at least 30 days before any change takes effect and will not be moved to the new price without that notice.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future payments and does not refund past ones. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have 14 days from subscribing to change your mind and get a full refund, even if you have used the service during that period.

Closing accounts

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to stop offering the service. If we close the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

Availability

We try to keep ExperimentIQ working, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, this does not remove protections you have under your local law.
